Reply:Where a nice pair of strappy black heals. Find a 1 diamond(or crystal) necklace or a circle. Find a bracelet to match. These can be found at any major department store or even target(if you have one in your area)

I would probably go with black open toed shoes and a black clutch. if you stick with the black you could even do a black beaded necklace. white would also be very pretty instead of the black shoes, clutch, and necklace. check places like forever 21 that have inexpensive good jewelry!

I wear my black and whites with colorful shoes and a matching handbag so maybe I would wear blue heels and blue bag maybe different shades, but if you want to match weat black high heeled sandals and a black with white bag or metallics, in your case silver, and check out claire's.. make sure to keep all your jewelry silver, dont mix for a more polished look, and if your hair is long try to do the style in my pic I think it'll be very cute

I don't know where you are and whether the store is near you or not, but try Urban Outfitters, they have really awesome stuff (: and it's also very cute.

%26amp; you can most definitely find clothes, accessories, bags, shoes, and such @ Urban Outfitters. Along with that, their things are fairly affordable.

Haha, yet another question from the completely useless-with-fashion girl that is me.

I recently asked what shoes would go best with this dress, and I got a good response and most involved silver strappy heels. But then I went on NEXT and saw these lovely shoes (and which colour would be best also!?)

Reply:The shoes are a little fussy for the dress but if you wear simple accessories it could look nice. Small simple earrings and a simple bracelet is all I would go with. Wear your hair up in a very simple twist or knot. Kep it simple because the dress makes a very loud statement.

these are cute choes, but they would look HORRIBLE with this dress. the dress already has so much going on- you need some flat silver strappy sandals (like everyone said). with complicated dresses like these, you have to wear shoes that will compliment it, but not take the attention off it. i wouldn't wear very much jewelry with this either. maybe just a silver bracelet or something.
Reply:That dress is so stylish and unique and absolutely ADORABLE! And yes, those shoes would go perfectly with the dress....I would suggest the dark brown instead of the turquoise/teal.

As for accessories....I think that pearls would look really nice with the outfit. The outfit gives off a flirty/floral vibe and pearls would be absolutely darling!

Hi, i'm going to a daytime wedding in 2 weeks and need some help fom anyone please!! I've got a baby pink trouser suit and haven't got a clue what colour top,shoes, bag and accessories will go with it best! Also what colour make-up would you go for? What top are yoy wearing underneath this trouser suit? If it has any colouring, you should pick out that and base other items you will wear on that.

For instance, if its a white top, go for white shoes and maybe a pearl necklace and bracelet?

Also, if you go to a department store to the make up area, they will help you pick out what colours to go with the outfit in mind.

Reply:ok, wear a dark brown for shoes use a chocolate colored or dark brown colored bag. try a pink sapphire tennis bracelet, because you dont want to look too fancy for a daytime wedding. as far as make-up goes, i cant tell you because it all depends on your skin color:

if you have pale skin---try pinks and purples

if you have beige skin---try blues;lights and darks

if you have bronze skin---try deep greens and shimmery golds

if you have dark skin--- try blacks and deep browns

Reply:If you start with jewelry or a scarf that has other colours in it and work from there, you will be able to co-ordinate better.

White, cream, beige, tan, pale colours such as yellow, blue or aqua, light gray are all good choices. Start with the assessory of scarf or jewelry and pull out the accent colour from that.
Reply:chocolate brown shoes, bag and cami would look good, sparkly brown on the eyes (compliments any colour eyes) and a nude type lip colour with a bit of gloss. Keep it simple. Mocha accessories would go well with baby pink too, Cream would go but I think that would be a bit sickly. Chocolate makes a statement

am a guy dressing up as a Debutante for Halloween (its meant to be fun). Since I have around shoulder length hair anyway, my sister suggested I didn't really need a wig but could just style my hair like a Deb. Most people (here) have suggested that some kind of updo is the most appropriate style to go for. I also have a ball gown as a dress with some heeled shoes.

What other accessories should I have to complete the look?

What accessories accompany a ball gown?
Chandelier earrings if you can find clip-ons, pearl necklace, little pearl or diamond hair accessories (you can twist them into your hair), bracelet. Everything should match or complement your costume. If you don't know if it does or doesn't then ask a girl.

-silver always looks good with black, but that depends on your makeup too. if youre planning on doing a brownish/goldish makeup, you use gold jewlery...so on and so forth.

I like silver with black personally...

-but keep the chain short if youre going to wear a necklace...dont want your boobs to eat the pendant...lol

-and id do either silver hoop earrings, or diamond stud earrings. (hoops come off as more fun though i think) Or maybe both, if you have second peircings.

-keep bracelets simple if you want to wear one. nothing with too many sparkles or rocks, and nothing "loud." And keep it with the same color family as the rest of the jewlery.

-Rings, if you have a braclet you dont really need them unless you have one from a certain someone that you never take off ;) or it you have something just really simple. Again, nothing that looks like its taking over your hand.

-hair up with a tube top! Maybe a bun sort of ordeal with curly/wavy pieces falling down?

I would stick with silver and gray accessories. Anything else could easily clash. White items would look too retro (although pearls are always classy), and I would stay away from blues because the wrong blue would look cheap.

The snake is killed- if you've ever seen the snake skin they shed, it's extremely thin and see-through and not usable for such things.

Reply:Snakeskin products are made from snakes that are killed and skinned. A shed skin would be too thin and fragile, not to mention have almost no color. Most snakes are farmed for this purpose but you should check out the company before you buy to make sure they're not using illegally collected wild species to make your boots with.

PS: I personally hate the use of anything that isn't also eaten...

Reply:No, they actually kill the snakes. The skin shed by a snake is transparent, and obviously snake skin accessories aren't.

They basically kill the snake, use its skin, sell the meat (to be eaten) or discard it, and save the bones to be cleaned and sold as of course, snake skeletons for science programs.

This is a VERY cruel thing; to kill an innocent little snake.

The animal is indeed harmed!!! =[
Reply:They kill the snake... because shedded skin doesn't look like real snake skin... so they wouldn't be able to use it.

It's really sad how they kill them...

one way isn't that smart for two reasons....first what they do is shoot the snake... that screws up the skin and it isn't very humane...

The second way is more humane and presereves the entire snake including the head. What you do is put them in a freezer... and since they are cold blooded they just fall asleep and don't wake up.

Then when you unthaw them they look alive... and you could use the venom for anti-venom.

When my dad lived in Arizona he would catch Mojave Rattlers... the green ones... and he would freeze them then thaw them out and put them in striking position like they were going to bite and coild them up... he would put them in front of his friends door step ring the bell... and run. He said the reactions hilarious. :p

I know plenty have given the right answer, but I am here to put my two cents in.

Does anything that is made from animal hide/fur leave the animal alive?? OK you got me wool from sheep. But sheepskin requires their deaths. Fur coats and such require dead animals. Leather goods, be it baseball glove or shoes require the cow to be dead.

If you think that snakeskin goods leave the snake alive. LOL!! you go ahead wrangle yourself one..and PEAL just a little like PURPLE FREAK says.

Hello, I'm going to a very formal christmas party and I have purchased the most beautiful classy red dress that is knee length. I don't know what color panty hose to wear or if I should not wear any at all. Also I have a pair of black peep toe heels with red on the bottom of the shoe? I also have red patient shoes? Then do I wear gold or silver accessories? I don't need a necklace because the dress covers my chest but it is sleevless. Any help from my fashion friends would be greatly appreciated.

Well for the panty hose I would definately go with none or nude colored....

Reply:If you go for the black/red look, wear neutral panty hose. Always wear panty hose when dressing formal. A black sweater, shawl, open crop sweater, or a shrug can top it off. The cover-up could also have shiny threads running through it or beading. Your ear rings would look good in either gold or black drop beads.
Reply:Pantyhose - definitely nude. It becomes rather wide spread not to wear panty hose at all; if you're young that'll do, but otherwise pantyhose still looks better, or those spray tanners.

Shoes I'd probably also go with the black and red, but try them both - the patent ones and the black ones in front of a mirror. (Myself, I'd wear gold metallic shoes, I think). Gold or silver - either goes with red, it's more what flatters you most. Put the silver stuff to your face. Then put the gold stuff. See which one really makes your face stand out; the right one even shines more next to your face.

If it's not that cold where you're going, I'd wear the dress as is or with a fancy (shiffon or something metallic or something like that) shawl at most. You are not mentioning your age/weight, so I assume you're relatively young and with no figure issues.The black jacket or shrug thingy would also do, as would a short jacket made of faur persian or broadtail fur.

I would definitely go with the Silver Strappy shoes or silver shoes that have clear rhinestones or crystals on them. As far as the accessories....the dress stands out on it own so it's not necessary to "dress it up". I too wore a red dress with a rhinestone strap for my sister's wedding and all I work were shoes with crsytal and a ring. That's all you need. Since you were thinking of wearing silver, my suggestion would be to wear a silver ring that has either cubic zirconia or crystals in/on it. Even if your ears aren't pierced, I'm sure you can find some beautiful rhinestone or cubic zirconia clip ons (only if you insist on wearing earrings) The dress is beautiful and it doesn't require a necklace..that would be too much. Also a nice chiffon red shawl would be fine (try to match the same color as the dress)

Don't over do the accessories, make yourself the center of attention in that dress. Make your date/friends want to look at your face since that's how the dress is designed. A simple silver necklace, and dressy but not over-glammed up shoes would look great.

Reply:personally I think it all depends on what shade of red it is. if its a bright red I say silver opened toes shoes. but if its a dark red i say you go with maybe maroon opened toed heals with straps that tie at your ankle. Yep pretty cute!

I've just bought a pale blue shift dress to wear for my cousins wedding in june. It's quite a casual wedding, but obviously I need accessories, including shoes, bag, top. But I can't decide what colour what go best - the dress is a pale baby blue, with little brown green and white flowers on - was thinking maybe white or siler but cud really do with some help!! thankx

The silver would look beautiful. The silver would look bright against the blue. This color would also be casual yet sexy and appropriate for a wedding. Just don't get a very flashy metallic silver, it will distract from the dress.

White would also be my second choice. You really can't go wrong with white. It would provide a fresh and clean look, and allow for your dress to be the main focus.

If anything, I would say to buy silver jewelry and possibly silver shoes with a white handbag or a soft silver one. White jewelry can sometimes look cheap.
Reply:I would go with silver strappy heels, as long as they aren't shiny. If you wear earrings, I'd wear small silver hoops or even some small dangly faux diamond ones (just nothing big or gaudy). You may not even need a necklace...the dress can speak for itself. A small silver handbag would be nice. If the dress is sleeveless you may want a white wrap for your shoulders. Good luck!

What is usually best to do when it comes to colour schemes is to pick out colours in the pattern on your dress and base your accessories around that.
Reply:Go with the colors of the flowers to bring them out, the flowers will pop more. Be careful though you don't want a lot of the same color, so I wouldn't go with the main color of your dress(Pale Blue)

Reply:I would say highly polished silver accessories. Thats it you seriously dont want to do black. Or you can do a mix of silver and black, like a black bracelt with diamonds, (fake ones of course). That would make the best accessories I think. Because the you can get black shoes with the same type of stones and I think this will set the dress off perfectly.

Gold. Get gold heels, purse, and jewelry. It will jazz up the black as well as look stunning.

If you want to keep it simple then another suggestion is pearl and white. Have your accessories and shoes white and then wear pearls (necklace and earrings). It is simple and classy but will make you look elegant.

Another option is to get black heels and then have your jewelry and accessories a color such as red, blue, or purple (my best friend had a black gown for prom and her date's favorite color was blue, so she had a sapphire necklace and a matching blue purse so that she matched him).

What I found that it really cute and spices it up well is something that you may think would be ugly at first but you deffinately have to try it out. Well i bought a cute simply pair of lepord print heels at macys. I had a million compliments all night. You can pull it together with a lepord print small headband or a lepord print purse. Trust me everyone will be looking at you all night. If that is a little 2 much for you an amazing pair of red heels with a red corsage is always a stunning match with a blackdress as well. Ive never taken the class, but my mom best freind has. She took Fashion Design. She liked the class and thought it was a LOT of fun. She looked into the other departments, like Accessory Design, but it has more Math work involved and she isnt good at Math. If you are, then I would go with the AD because my moms freind said that if she was good in Math, she would have.

If your not, the I would go with FD. She said ot was a worthwhile experienece.

I've been so concerned with shopping vegan (concern being for animals) that it somehow slipped my mind that I should be concerned with the environment also. It seems to be one of those neverending debates - "Real vs Manmade". Is PVC/ Vinyl as damaging as they say? Also I do plan to keep it in mind when shopping from now on, but do I have to feel guilty for already owning pleather items or buying vintage? Thanks

This is for some awards at my school. On the lower chest area of the dress are some like fake diamonds kind of. I thought maybe white open toe heels, diamond earings and neckalace and a black shaw. I would go for smokey eyes.. not too heavy though.. focusing more on white eye-shadow smudging black eye-shadow at the edges.. Lips should be a bit glossy but natural colour. Use some blusher as well.. not too heavy either.

Then since you have some fake diamonds on the dress you should probably wear diamond earrings and a dainty silver bracelet.. i'd prefer silvery open toe heels but white would be good as well..and a silvery necklace would be great as well.

A shoe is a slot on a camera or in this case, camcorder that allows you to attach a light or a mic. A hot shoe provides the electricity, while a cold shoe is simply a holder for the mic. So in your case, look for mics that use external batteries, and don't draw power from the shoe. I would ask the host to make sure, but probably as long as the majority of your outfit is white, you're fine. Silver is close to white anyway, so it's not as if you'll be wearing red shoes that would totally stand out. But the host may be picky about this, so again, check with him or her.

medium heel and and oversize bag both black - if the bag has same or similar metal details like the top that is good

otherwise skinny trousers black or white, very high heels and a small bag, a wide belt with large buckle in the same or similar style as the metal on the top

Reply:Since the colours are red, white and gold, I tend to stick with the colours present. Therefore, white denim skirt, reasonably short, gold bangles, white bag with gold sequins/buckles and a red/orangey pendant on the end of a gold chain. As for shoes, either gold/white sandal heels or gold/white dolly shoes. It's best not to load yourself up with red too much as it can be a garish colour when used in excess. White balances it out and tones it down.
Reply:Love the top is it red or orange not easy to tell. No jewellery around the neck because of the chain work on the top. Just one gold bangle and one red or orange one around your wrist.

I would go for white cut offs ending just below knee, not a skirt this would go for either smart or casual.

Shoes flat pumps in either red/orange or gold depending on what the occassion is and a clutch purse - the latest thing in either gold or red .

As they say less is far better than going over the top. Oh and if you have earrings go for gold and a natural look for your makeup.

Wear your hair up to show off your neck, even a simple ponytail because the dress is very sexy your hair should be simple, not some elaborate updo. carry a clutch, don't use a bag with straps

Reply:Hey there. Wearing a red dress is always a little tough because you have to decide whether you want to wear red shoes, black shoes, or maybe a silver or gold shoe.

Firstly, I think that given the length of the dress, around or above the knee, that you'll look a lot more sophisticated if you wear it with a heel, so I would steer clear of any flats. Also, I think that you should go for a stiletto sort of shape. This would give you a very Catherine Zeta-Jones look. Or try a classy peeptoe shape.

If you're wearing this to a party, you could go with some metallic flats. If you aren't so tall or you just feel like being taller, then you could try a kitten heel or something taller; just make sure you can walk in it before you go in public. The style, whether strappy or solid, cutout or peep-toe, is up to you. Whatever floats your boat. As far as jewelry goes, I would like either silver or gold, or a combination of the two. (I wouldn't do all gold; paired with the blue it might look a bit nautical) Diamonds or sapphires of the same hue might look good as well. I'd go with a simple diamond bracelet, maybe some pearl drop earrings, no necklace (it would clash with the dress too much), and maybe even an anklet if you want to. shoe might be hard to come by unless you have a very small foot. definately go for heels though and make sure thy amtch the dress. you could probably go to a thrift store and get a purse and jewelry, just don't go over board and end up looking tacky!!!

My dress is a chocolate brown and has cream colored pocadots and is a halter dres just past the knee with a thin layer of ruffle at the bottom,it's realy pretty. I have blond hair and blue eyes. What shoes and accessories should i get, Pics please

Can't find accessories for my dress?
I would go with brown or cream flats( brown if the ruffle is cream and cream if the ruffle is brown).

But if you want height..brown or cream heels..kitten would probably look best(even though it desnt give you much height).

I would probably use gold hoops and bangles.

And maybe a gold tiara/headband

Hopefully you can find some cream flats because that would probably look best with the dress and gold accessories.

Nice, kinda big (hoop?) earrings to match the color of the polka dots, and and a nice, retro necklace. You could switch the colors around if you want. This might not work depending on what material the cloth of your dress is.

Reply:since your dress is in a warm color, you should accessorize with golds; you can accentuate the neckline of the dress with a long delicate gold chain, unless your dress is a halter, in which case you should wear a gold drop necklace; it's like those Y shaped ones; make sure the shap of your necklace is not parallel to the neckline, that would be too much; if you want to wear a bracelate(s), you can be bolder here without being too fussy, since i'm assuming your dress is sleeveless; copper or gold (but not tacky) shoes would also go really well with the dress; if you can try to wear heals that do not have straps across the foot or around the ankle; a pump would elongate your legs; if you have to wear flats, you can wear a gold ballerina flat

One of my really good friends has asked me to waltz at her 15th birthday party. Her mother is making me a dress. It's minty green. What color of shoes and accesories should i wear?

For shoes I think a beautiful champagne colored shoe would amazing. Off whites and pale brushed golds look good too. Colors along these lines:
