Gold. Get gold heels, purse, and jewelry. It will jazz up the black as well as look stunning.





If you want to keep it simple then another suggestion is pearl and white. Have your accessories and shoes white and then wear pearls (necklace and earrings). It is simple and classy but will make you look elegant.





Another option is to get black heels and then have your jewelry and accessories a color such as red, blue, or purple (my best friend had a black gown for prom and her date's favorite color was blue, so she had a sapphire necklace and a matching blue purse so that she matched him).
Reply:I also got a black dress for prom and I am wanting to change it up as well. What I found that it really cute and spices it up well is something that you may think would be ugly at first but you deffinately have to try it out. Well i bought a cute simply pair of lepord print heels at macys. I had a million compliments all night. You can pull it together with a lepord print small headband or a lepord print purse. Trust me everyone will be looking at you all night. If that is a little 2 much for you an amazing pair of red heels with a red corsage is always a stunning match with a blackdress as well. Just dont be afraid to try new things. Hope you have fun at prom.

Reply:wear swarovski crystal jewelry it will look so pretty and the shine is awesome. shoes i would go with strappy shoes. nordstrom has a very nice line of swarovski jewelry that is their own. check it out.

Reply:you need high high high heels...i worked in a bridal shop for a long time and sold prom gowns, i know alot about what would look good. not necessarily these shoes but something similar. as for a necklace get a long gold or silver one with charms on the end.

if you're fair you can do a silver


or a color for any skin tone, but keep it to one color, and only in touches
