What accessories and shoes should i wear with red prom dress?

i am wearin a fab red dress and it has a diamond brooch on it but dont have any shoes to wear it with. the model on the pic is wearing silver so i was thinking silver strappy heels. i dont have my ears pierced so i cant get silver earings so maybe a silver necklace, ring and bracelet or is that too much??. and wot type of shawl should i wear?

I would definitely go with the Silver Strappy shoes or silver shoes that have clear rhinestones or crystals on them. As far as the accessories....the dress stands out on it own so it's not necessary to "dress it up". I too wore a red dress with a rhinestone strap for my sister's wedding and all I work were shoes with crsytal and a ring. That's all you need. Since you were thinking of wearing silver, my suggestion would be to wear a silver ring that has either cubic zirconia or crystals in/on it. Even if your ears aren't pierced, I'm sure you can find some beautiful rhinestone or cubic zirconia clip ons (only if you insist on wearing earrings) The dress is beautiful and it doesn't require a necklace..that would be too much. Also a nice chiffon red shawl would be fine (try to match the same color as the dress)

Reply:a shawl with that dress would be good if it was black, and the same type of fabric the dress is. a nice way to dress it up is with a dimond studded black clutch from a vintage store would look so cute! And mabey a simple dimond necklace. If it is on a chain go with silver, not gold. And the shoes that the model wears are perfect! Try to get something like that, and remember, MAKE IT YOUR OWN!!!!!!
Reply:Yep. You gotta go silver. If it weren't for the little brooch, you could have done black, white, gold, or some other complementing color. Don't over do the accessories, make yourself the center of attention in that dress. Make your date/friends want to look at your face since that's how the dress is designed. A simple silver necklace, and dressy but not over-glammed up shoes would look great.
Reply:I like the silver shoes. And i think a necklace it fine by itself, if you're gonna have a corsage on your wrist. Make sure it's not to over the top of a necklace, like one that matches the style of the brooch. Love the dress!! XOXO
Reply:personally I think it all depends on what shade of red it is. if its a bright red I say silver opened toes shoes. but if its a dark red i say you go with maybe maroon opened toed heals with straps that tie at your ankle. Yep pretty cute!
