What shoes, make up, accessories to wear with green dress?

Hello everyone,


I have a catholic wedding to attend in two weeks and I'm matron of honor. The dress is green (hard satin) I have no idea what kinds/colors of shoes, tones of make up, accessories that go with the dress. And what should I do with my hair? My hair is long,very dark brown almost black. Please help. Thank you very much.

What shoes, make up, accessories to wear with green dress?
Either silver or gold can work with satin green. However, don't use both -- stick with one or the other. I think gold will look better, as it looks quite classy with green.





Shoes: Try strappy gold heels. They can be high, but if the dress is short, they shouldn't be too high. It is a wedding after all, not a club.





Jewelry: The goal is elegant, so don't overdo it, or it'll look tacky. Try a thin gold bracelet or necklace and small, semi-long earrings. Not too much sparkle! I don't recommend wearing earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet. Choose two of the three. Plus, if you're married and you have a gold ring, that'll add to it. So not too much.





Your hair sounds amazingly gorgeous. I'm jealous. I suggest straightening it and leaving it down. If you don't want to leave it all the way down, you can clip some of it back with a gold clip. Overall, your look will be modern [the green dress], classy [the jewelry and shoes], and down-to-earth [the hair down].





Also, just to make sure, check in with some other women who are in the wedding and see what they're wearing. You should try to coordinate with oneanother, at least a little bit.

Shoes: Maybe some strappy heals in gold, silver, or white.


Make up: I'd keep it natural, like brown shades for eyes, some blush, and a pretty lip color.


Accessories: Any color that accents the dress. You could do gold or silver earrings, a necklace with a beads in a darker green or peach color, and, if you want, a bracelet that goes with the necklace.


Hair: You could curl your hair and leave it or curl your hair and put it up in a loose bun.

The accessories are hard uness you actually SEE the dress but you could always just do something simple and easy. do a simple necklace with one round diamond hanging on it. Do round diamond earrines and a diamond bracelet. That would be easy and classic. As far as updo's.... Here is a good sight to get some ideas from celebrities. With your makeup... go with your skin tone and THEN go with if it matches the dres... For example, if you have pale skin.. first consider the colors that look good with your skin... then go with what colors out of those go with your dress. Obviously you arent going to wear purple with green. Maybe some nice shades of brown... Or maybe do a smokey eye... that always looks nice. Either way, you will look gorgeous.

Reply:I would wear wedges with a green hard satin dress. It is Spring and I think it would look cute. For your hair I would do the opposite of the bride. If she has her hair up wear yours down. And the other way around. It is the bride's day to stand out and apart.

green is hard to match to begin w/ so if you have light skin then i would stay away from bright colors, but if you have a nice tan, you can play around w/ reds, maybe burgandys or pastels since its spring time.

Reply:Green dress matches with gold shoes and gold accessories. not so heavy make up but do wear false eyelashes don't put on matte lipstick peach color lipstick will do and don't forget to put lipgloss with gold bits. By the way, loose a little 2lbs will do. Green dress must be carried lightly and with modest. If you can apply Green Tea Perfume you will surely feel fresh and heavenly. Reply:Jewelry: Gold, gold bangles, gold neckalace chain or anythin just make it gold, for earings wear diamonds fake or real





Shoes: white shoes with green bows if possible or just white with green accent or just plain white





Purse: Gold or white





Hair: Put it in a updo and get a pretty stoned barret to put in the front

Gold is in this season. Dont go monotone! such a no no! put life and use Gold :)
